Final Project Reflection

Developmental Processs The developmental process of the eBook was a rough one. After brainstorming on many ideas such as travelling, fashion trends, online dating, we settled on fashion trends. This is because we felt that it would be interesting to talk about it, and many millennials would not be familiar with the topic. However, some problems that I faced while exploring this idea that since we would have to design all elements in our eBook, I felt that pictures drawn out regarding different clothes designs would be difficult and might not look aesthetically pleasing. Moreover, it would be difficult to come up with different design concepts and vibes for each decade, which might then increase our workload. With feedback received during the critique session, after much deliberation, we finally changed our topic to a millennial's guide to online dating in Singapore. The picture I have taken is as shown below From the picture, I have extracted five hues, as shown below: In general, the colours extracted are differing shades of orange colours and blue. Overall, the picture uses cooler colours due to the presence of blue colours in most parts of the picture. The colour scheme present in the picture is the complementary colour scheme, as the general blue colours are opposite the orange colours. This creates vibrant atmosphere in the picture. However, due to the presence of colours that have low chroma (specifically those middle three colours that I have extracted), a calming mood is created as well.
